We celebrated christmas today. I spent the day wrapping my last christmas presents, enjoying a walk in the snow (yay snow!) with Ronja, eating wonderful christmas dinner and dancing around the christmas tree with Snorri's family. Hope you're all enjoying the holidays. Gleðileg jól!

Pink sky and purple mountains. I ask for nothing more. Except maybe a bit of snow? Please? Today: Going to a friends wedding. Tomorrow: Participating in my family's annual laufabrauð-factory. Yay!

Reunited and it feels so good! Staying with my parents in one of Reykjavík's suburb, Grafarvogur. There are not alot of things to do here other than walking your dog. So fortunately I have a dog and this dog always seems to be up for a walk. On this particular walk we met some nice ravens who had a long friendly chat with Ronja.

Last weekend was indeed my last weekend in London this year. I'm getting ready now to leave for Heathrow to go to Iceland! So many people (and one dog) I cannot wait to hug.

Friday and sunday I worked in the Peter Jensen sample sale. Sunday was my last day. Sad. I am really going to miss all the wonderful people in this company. Next stop is Erdem where I will begin an internship in early January. Excited!

On saturday I went with Þórunn and Sara to The Museum of Everything. Amongst things we saw was a 300 year old puppet show, some fascinating Walter Potter taxidermy -like this one and also some live taxidermy (which I tried my best not to watch). This show is so good. Please go if you have the chance. After that I met Snorri in Winter Wonderland which was......interesting. A lot of rides, lights and christmasy techno music. I focused on the nice things like vintage looking rides, having mulled wine with Snorri and the funny joke a talking plastic tree told me; "How does Rudolf know when christmas is coming? -He looks at his calendeer." Hee hee.

Last saturday we held "little christmas" at our house. We made christmas decorations, decorated the gorgeous christmas tree (see fourth photo) and made piparkökur. Had loads of fun creating non christmasy piparkökur like pacman, electric guitars and the chanel logo. Also the shining twins made an appearance -see fifth photo.

Today I'm going to the Museum of Everything which supposedly has the craziest circus exhibition ever which is finishing tomorrow. After that possibly heading to Winter Wonderland!
