Sooooo I'm back! Here you can see pics from my new collection taken by Friðrik Örn. I'm very happy with the results and I think I got good responses. Now there's loads of work ahead of me but I'm not gonna bore you with details.

You can also see some more photos on Nowfashion.com and a review. In the next days I'll post more pics including some backstage stuff and some insights into the ideas behind the collection. Hope you'll like it!

Oh and here are the songs I used for the show. I found the music to be really important to portray the atmosphere I wanted. I asked my boyfriends to find my loads of songs that were really silly but also quite cool and I picked these three:

#1: Nao va se perder por ai by Os Mutantes -such a silly and cool song and I found it absolutely perfect for the atmosphere.
#2: Muleskinner Blues by Fendermen -this one makes me laugh every time I hear it! (Which also made me a lot less stressed during the show!)
#3: And this great song by Adriano Celentano describing how english sounds to italians. So funny and check out the amazing video!

I have been accepted to show my first collection (besides my graduation line) on Reykjavik Fashion Festival in late march. Excited! And also a bit freaked out! I have some real busy times ahead of me but will try to update here as often as I can and maybe tell you something about my project.

Some pics from my beloved Broadway market during the holidays. One of those things I will miss dearly from London including the bratwurst stall. Yum. Also sweet Sara on the bottom pic.

Next up I'll show you snowy snowy Iceland. I'm loving it! Finally I'm surrounded by weather with a real character! Although I planned to go toile fabric shopping today and don't think our Nissan Micra will make it all the way. Hmm......

I found out this christmas that Londoners are no the biggest christmas decorating people in the world. I was so surprised to find almost no houses with christmas light in their windows. I think it might be because where I lived there are so many students and people that aren't really from London but travel elsewhere around the holidays.

It's a completely different story here in Iceland where a lot of people still have their christmas lights because of the endless darkness. It is nice but gee it's hard to wake up.
