Trash by the shore. Some people might think this is all very disgusting but I like these pictures. The colors, neutral with a pop of orange and teal and the rugged worn out feel of these things that have been bathing in the sea for some time.

Turns out you can't take ugly photos when the weather is this beautiful in Iceland. These are from my first weekend in august when I had spent the night before attending a wonderful wedding with my boyfriend and the day after we drove to Bugða, my parent's country cabin. This type of fog which somehow lays on the ground is called dalalæða in Icelandic, don't know the word for it in english although they probably have one. Anyway it decorated the landscape in the night around ten o'clock and I think I've never cursed my self as much for not having a working camera. I decided to take my phone out just to be able to capture the beauty of it at least a little bit.
I've been working a lot since I arrived but now I have some time to enjoy my country, meet some friends and relax a bit before I head back to London in the beginning of september. Hopefully I can show you some more Iceland pics soon.

I'm a bad blogger. No posting in nine days. Been busy enjoying my home country and also trying to spend as much time with Snorri who left for London today. My activities in the last few days have included going to a wonderful wedding in the countryside, frolicking in the sun with some of my besties, working for my in laws, hugging my family and walking my dog. Also worrying about all my friends in London with all the madness that has been going on. Feeling sad about the people affected by it and also a bit for the people causing it.
Here are some more Brighton pics since my camera is broken and I haven't been able to take any pictures in Iceland yet. Which is beyond horrible for me and I will try and get my hands on an old film camera just so I can snap away when I need to.

More seagulls and some photos from the beach in Brighton which I visited on a windy sunday with my friends recently. I borrowed my friend's Svala's camera and seeing the results makes me want to shoot in film much more. It really has much better quality than my small compact (broken) digital one.
ps. Mmm! Oyster!
